Today we’re going in a field trip to the park and the science circus in Lake Charles. I’m just as excited as they are!
My darling Haleah (previously misspelled about a thousand times).
This woman is SO AWESOME. I wish I knew all the things she knows.
Today she made spider soup for the kids out of punch and dry ice. We also made spider cookies.
Coolest. science lesson. EVER.
This is my Philosophy of Education video for my E3 project.
This boy likes me and thinks I’m pretty and wants to know my name, but I don’t wanna tell him. I just wanna beat him in basketball.
Lots of presents from sweet students = lots of thank you note writing. Not complaining. =)
Darian gave me this all wrapped up. She was so proud to give it to me. I didn’t want to take it, but I knew it was important that I did.
Kaci and Savannah brought me flowers today. I have the sweetest kids.
Teaching Measuring Penny tomorrow for my evaluation!
P.s. If anyone ever needs a fourth grade measurement lesson plan, let me know. I’ve taught it before and the kids loved it!
This is so awesome! This app is AWESOME! Instead of actually being productive and writing lesson plans, I have been playing on this for the entire evening. You can select your grade, subject, and then BAM! Activities and lessons! Right on your phone!
The website that sponsors the app is wonderful (and free!) too. Tons of hands on activities/lessons, as well as some fun worksheets!

All of the 4th grade teachers at my school got iPads, which, for reasons beyond my understanding, included me. It’s mine until I leave in December.
I AM SO EXCITED YOU GUYS.
Ms. Calhoun, you shoulda stayed home with your nose all red and snotty like that.
