Adventures in Student Teaching

Ms. Hillary Calhoun. 22 years young. 4th grade student teacher and lover of all things elementary. Learning to be the best teacher I can be through a string of incredible moments.

If I've learned to do one thing in my four years at The University of Southern Mississippi, it's to reflect on my learning experiences. Not being required to do that this semester is what brought me here. Metacognition and all. You know.

Through a series of events, I have been swept away to this strange land that is Louisiana to take part in the learning of the precious 4th graders of Beauregard Parish. I don't know what the semester has in store for me, but I invite you to stay with me every step of the way.
